Private SCC Transportation

Getting to the Seattle Convention Center on time means more than arriving downtown; it means reaching the right entrance without delays, confusion, or crowded drop-off points. With multiple buildings, busy surrounding streets, and overlapping events, even short distances can take longer than expected.

With private SCC transportation, your arrival is planned in advance, from routing and timing to the exact access point you need. Whether you’re heading to the Arch or Summit building, arriving from SEA, or coordinating a group, everything stays on schedule from the moment you leave.

Flying In? We’ll Get You to the Convention Floor

Seattle’s gateway, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), sits approximately 14 miles south of the convention center, with typical drive times ranging from 25 to 45 minutes depending on I-5 corridor traffic. The route passes through SoDo and into downtown, where surface streets narrow and rideshare queues can stack during peak conference hours.

The Arch sits at 705 Pike Street, with a designated drop-off point for private vehicles at 725 Pike Street. If you’re carrying materials or heading straight into a session, the 800 Convention Place entrance offers a useful shortcut, with an elevator that leads directly to the 4th-floor Gardenshow. The Summit is at 900 Pine Street, about a block and a half north, and you’ll enter from the Pine Street side.

If you’re part of a team, there are a few extra details to know. The city requires Transportation Attendants for motor coach activity, and only two coaches can wait at Convention Place at a time. So, groups using larger vehicles should coordinate staging with the venue ahead of arrival to avoid delays near the curb, but that becomes easier with our airport car service.

A City Block of Business: Arriving for Corporate Events

Business events at the Seattle Convention Center move quickly, and the layout rewards direct routing. With multiple construction sites and overlapping schedules, knowing where to arrive helps avoid unnecessary backtracking. The campus splits into two main zones, each serving different corporate needs:

Arch Building (705 Pike Street)

  • Over 430,000 square feet of space.
  • 70 meeting rooms and four ballrooms.
  • Large exhibition halls suited for trade shows and product displays.

Arch at 800 Pike

  • Executive conference center with 17 meeting rooms.
  • Well-suited for leadership meetings and smaller functions.
  • Elevator access to upper-level spaces.

Summit Building (900 Pine Street)

  • High-rise venue with over 570,000 square feet.
  • 62 meeting rooms and a 58,000-square-foot ballroom.
  • Flex Hall for adaptable layouts.
  • Outdoor terrace used for networking sessions.

A few on-site details shape how you approach arrival:

  • Security checkpoints can slow entry at peak times, so arriving 15–20 minutes early helps you avoid rushing into sessions.
  • Moving between Arch and Summit takes time on foot, which is why many groups align access points with our corporate transportation.
  • Dining and meeting spaces are spread across both structures.

Getting to the right entrance on the first pass makes a noticeable difference, especially when sessions run close together.

Your Agenda Starts Before You Arrive

From formal galas to product launches and nonprofit gatherings, this place hosts a steady mix of events. Guests, vendors, and organizers often get there at different times, which makes coordination more important than it first appears.

The Arch at 705 Pike Street hosts large receptions and awards, while the Summit at 900 Pine Street hosts modern occasions with expansive halls and open networking areas. Because these venues are close together, directing guests to the correct entrance with our meeting and event transportation from the start helps avoid unnecessary movement between them.
